Its’ light golden color hints at this wines fermentation and ageing in barrel.
However, very little new oak is used in making our Chardonnay,
choosing instead to feature the delicate fruit characters for which the Arroyo Seco appellation is known.
Barltett pear and golden apple flavors predominate, with background notes of light oak and
creaminess from the secondary, malolactic fermentation.
Rich but not overdone, this wine is equally suitable for general sipping or
pairing with simply prepared seafood and chicken dishes.
