Alice Seno, Lotis Master Outfit - Alice 19th

"Alice 19th," a shoujo graphic novel by Japanese artist Yuu Watase, is not especially well-known, but I loved the costume designs so much that I had to make one - selecting lesser-known works or minor characters, by this point, was becoming a sort of hallmark of mine.  In this story, teenaged Alice Seno is a rather shy girl living in the shadow of her pretty and popular older sister, Mayura.  Alice's only friend is a magical white rabbit, Nyozeka, whose life she saved, and who insists that Alice has the ability to weild a set of powerful runes known as the Lotis Words.  But speaking up is not in Alice's nature, and when Mayura announces that she is going to start dating Kyo, the boy Alice likes, Alice, heartbroken, voices a wish that indavertantly plunges her sister into a world of darkness.  Alice and Kyo must quickly learn to use the 24 Lotis Words to save Mayura from a demonic force that threatens to engulf all human hearts, and Alice, in the process, learns how powerful even ordinary words can be.

When Alice masters all 24 Lotis Words, her school uniform changes to this ceremonial Lotis Master version.  The 19th Lotis Word, Rangu, means "Courage," and as she calls it forth, it manifests itself as a sword.  Each rune she masters appears as a bead on her bracelet, and she is always accompanied by Nyozeka, who hides her true form by appearing as a plushie.
