SWoRD is a web-based reciprocal peer review system used throughout the world to support writing instruction from high school through graduate school. It enables classrooms that already have writing to do more effective writing instruction, and it also enables classrooms that have no writing due to insufficient grading/feedback resources to add writing.
SWoRD was developed at LRDC, and research continues at LRDC. But as a general tool for broad use, SWoRD is now licensed by Panther Learning Systems under the name of Peerceptiv. To signup to use Peerceptiv, go to: http://www.peerceptiv.com
This site provides an overview of prior and ongoing research with SWoRD, with prior support from Andrew Mellon Foundation and the University of Pittsburgh, and current support from NSF and IES.
