Welcome to our Radltour!
May 28th until June 6th 2010
As we live in the East of Austria, we have taken the night train to Feldkirch, which is located near the Swiss boarder.
A wonderful bicycle ride on the shore bike path at the upper Rhein river has leaded us to the city of Chur. As weather turned cold, we have taken the bus to Bellinzola, which is South of the Alps in Tecino, a very sunny area of Switzerland.
On the way back, we hit a lot of high summits and finally have seen the snow again.
At the the Bernina pass road, we have faced strong front wind. We decided to take the Ferrovia Retica for the climb.
At the lovely South Tyrolian city of Lana, we had our rest day.
And again, we have been forced to cross the Alps, which we have taken on an easy summit - the Rescia pass (elevated just 1.500 m).
We hit the Inntal bicycle path road, which leaded us to Landeck, whereas, we have taken the train back to Vienna.
See details below!
Enjoy the pictures!

With the night train to Western Austria (train station Feldkirch) - see below!
We started the tour at the Rheintal bike path...
The best night we ever had on this tour has been at the Italian side of Lago Lugano. City: Valsolda, Hotel Mimosa.
www.damimosa.it
The very friendly hotel keeper, has given hints, to hidden local place, like the way to Madonna del Ghisallo (Bicycle church and bicycle museum).
It is recommandable place for excellet food! Worth to stop there!
There would be some more pictures, but Google says: the site has exeeded the upload quota...
Well, we can do nothing and follow Googles strict rules... ;-(
THANK YOU !
