4 chicken breasts

1/2 cup diced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup ketchup

3/4 cup soy sauce

2 Tbsp sesame oil, or olive oil if you don't have any

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

4 tsp cornstarch

1/3 cup water

3 green onions, sliced

2 tsp sesame seeds

Cooked rice

Place the chicken in the crockpot.  In a mixing bowl combine the onions, garlic, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, oil and red pepper.  Pour this mixture over the chicken and cook for 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 on high (depending on your crockpot you may need more or less time).

About 30 minutes before eating: remove the chicken from the crock pot and place on a cutting board.  Combine the corn starch and water in a small bowl or cup.  Mix well and pour into the sauce in the crock pot.  Stir well and come back and stir it every few minutes until it is thick.  Cut or break apart the chicken into bite sized pieces.  Stir the chicken back into the thickened sauce.

Serve the chicken over rice and top with sesame seeds and green onions.
