Groups

GOLD GROUP
 
Advanced swimmers generally from ages 12 and up who are serious about training and competition. Gold Group swimmers are expected to practice between 8 and 12 hours per week. Members of this group must show proficiency in all four strokes  and expect between 5,000 to 8,000 yards a night.  Swimmers will participate in competitions throughout the season.
 
SILVER GROUP
 
 Group for the swimmer who isn't quite ready for the Gold group commitment. Strokes, turns, and conditioning will be emphasized. Swimmers will practice 4 days a week and swim in USA Swimming meets throughout the season. Generally for ages 8-12 .
 
BRONZE GROUP
 
Beginning swimmers with no competitive experience but have the ability to swim at least 25 yards freestyle unassisted.  Our Bronze swimmers practice 3 days a week. The emphasis is on the instruction in the four competitive strokes, starts, turns, and racing skills. Swimmers will participate in competitions at the coaches discretion. Generally for Ages 6 - 10.
