About

Welcome to the second annual Swim the Snake swim!  This is a challenging open-water event that gives participants the opportunity to swim the scenic Snake River.  The event serves as a fundraiser for the Blue Mountain Resource Conservation and Development Council, the Dayton Swim Team and the Pomeroy Swim Team.

Swim The Snake is a recreational swim (not a race!) across the Snake River from the former Lyons Ferry State Park site (north) to the Lyons Ferry Marina (south).  Ambitious swimmers may choose to swim BACK across the river.
