The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a not-for-profit educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineeirng, and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders. About SWE at the University of Hartford

As a collegiate chapter of the Society of Women Eingineers, SWE, is an organization for students pursuing careers in engineering, technology, and architecture. Although the name of the club is the Society of Women Engineers, male students are strongly encouraged to join and show their support for women engineers, and to help further women in their chosen fields.


Meetings are held bi-weekly on Thursdays at 12:15 in UT 306. To recieve meeting reminders and club updates, please send your name, major, and year of graduation to SWE@hartford.edu.
