24 thin sliced baguette
2T butter, melted
2 T butter
2 T corn syrup
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup walnut halves
5 oz triple creme Brie with rind removed, softened to room temp
1 granny smith apple cored and thinly sliced
1/2 cup honey, divided
Preheat oven to 350
Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet and brush w/ melted butter and bake 10-12 minutes or lightly browned. Cool.
Reduce oven temp to 300.
In small saucepan, combine butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar. Bring to boil over medium-high heat; boil 1 minutes.
Add walnuts, stirring to coat; remove from heat.
Immediately pour walnuts onto lightly greased baking sheet and spread in single layer.
Bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spread on wax paper to cool and separate any clumps.
Spread Brie evenly over toasted baguette slices.
Top with thin slice of apple.
Drizzle honey in center of apple slice.
Top w/ candied walnut half.
