Social Work Day at the Capitol is an annual event that is hosted by the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) in St. Paul, MN. The day is an event for social workers across the state to unite at the state capitol to advocate for NASW's legislative priorities.
This is an opportunity for social workers to exercise their skills with advocacy and to get a feel for macro-level practice. Social workers will have the chance to meet with legislators and discuss issues of importance for the state and in your community.
Don't forget to share your pictures and posts from the day with #SWDAC2019 and #VoiceValuesVote!
