SWAPBox Profile - Occupation Descriptors

posted 25 Mar 2013, 08:39 by   [ updated 25 Mar 2013, 08:48 ]

Registered SWAPBox users have the option to customise their profile by choosing from a pre-defined list of occupations (eg academic, learner, practice educator, etc). Users who have selected one of these options can then be searched for in the 'Browse by Occupation' section. Some time has passed since we first developed these descriptors and we are wondering whether they need to be updated to correctly reflect the different kind of users who have registered on SWAPBox since we first set up the site. We have added a new thread on the on the discussion forum and would welcome your feedback and suggstions on whether we need to change the current descriptors and what new options should be added. Many thanks for your help!
