DEFINITION and MEANING
Peace can be viewed as the opposite of war, or as a pervasive sense of well-being.  Over-all, it means a state of serenity and harmony in which one feels a general sense of friendship and affection towards the world at large. When distressing thoughts or memories emerge, once they have been confronted, renowned psychiatrists have recommended meeting such thoughts as intruders at the door of one’s conscious mind.

The more vivid the image, the greater will be the efficacy of either speaking, thinking or both, “Get out of here.”  In time, such unwelcome thoughts will abandon their effort, melting into nothingness.
