Cedar Mountain Fire Protection District is holding informational meetings regarding a proposed increase in assessments to fund existing operations and hire additional full-time firefighters. This is an opportunity to get more information, ask questions and voice your support or concern before the CMFPD board makes their decision on the increase. There will be two more meetings held at the Mammoth Creek Road Fire Station (near Duck Creek) and Chief Tuttle has also arranged to hold meetings in Southern Nevada in order to reach more people. Here are the confirmed dates and locations:

April 15, 2017 at 6 pm 
CMFPD Station 1, 3620 Mammoth Creek Road, Duck Creek Village, Utah 

April 21, 2017 at 5 pm
Boulder City Fire Department Station 1, 1101 Elm Street, Boulder City, NV

April 22, 2017 at 5 pm
Highland Hills Baptist Church, 615 College Drive, Henderson, NV

May 27, 2017 at 6 pm
CMFPD Station 1, 3620 Mammoth Creek Road, Duck Creek Village, Utah

 On October 1, 2016, the Board of Directors adopted a Waiver of Enforcement for existing, Designated Recreational Vehicle Lot Owners.
