I am interested in studying the water cycle from Himalayan glaciers, in terms of numerical models as well as field data. I typically use simple models to understand the present and future behavior of Himalayan glaciers and their influence on the high Himalayan rivers. I also like to study the glacier-related hazards in the high mountain region using simple mathematical model which potentially is useful for the nearby population, dam, infrastructure, etc.

Currently I am a Project Scientist at National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Goa.
