Help Us Help Others

Oct 2013 thru Sep 2014:  We provided $36,787 of financial assistance with food perishables.  Our Food Pantry services assisted 1,210 patrons with food distributions totaling 18,008 lbs.

Thank you for supporting us with your prayers, encouragement, and contributions over the past year.  Without it, we would not be able to accomplish the work of providing for those in need in our Community.

Systemic Change
  1. Registration:  Everyone seeking assistance is registered and evaluated for specific immediate needs.  The immediate services provided might consist of food, clothing, or limited financial support.

  2. Conference:  Once registered, a case manager is assigned.  The case manager will sit with the person and review outstanding bills and statements in an effort to prepare a financial analysis.  This analysis will assist the person when approaching other organizations more qualified to address their financial burdens.

  3. Home Visits:  Future state - People requiring ongoing assistance will be scheduled for a home visit where the case managers will review the current situation.
Steps 1, 2, and 3 are comprised of volunteers with the spiritual essence of faith, hope, love, and charity.  Detailed descriptions of these volunteering opportunities can be found here.
