Graduate Student in Psychology, Yale University

I'm a graduate student in the Yale psychology department working with Dr. John Dovidio in the Yale Intergroup Relations Laboratory.  My research focuses on understanding the ways in which people judge others based on their wealth, specifically looking at the distinct roles of explicit social evaluations and implicit social evaluations.  A second research focus is understanding how social attitudes form and develop, particularly when social group boundaries are perceived to be flexible (such as with wealth groups in America).  Overall, I hope my research can inform our understanding of the role that social psychological processes play in perpetuating societal wealth inequality.
