My area of specialization is in Medieval philosophy but I have general research and teaching interests in metaphysics, mind, and philosophy of religion. My research focuses primarily on the philosophy of William Ockham, and on later-medieval discussions of topics in metaphysics and the philosophy of mind. Currently, I'm working on two main issues: (1) medieval theories of consciousness and self-knowledge, and (2) the metaphysical underpinnings of Ockham's philosophy of mind.
