Quarter Scale Wicker Sofa

Materials: Knit-Cro-Sheen in the color of your choice (I used light tan), # 7 steel crochet hook.

Row 1: Ch 7, 1 sc in second ch from hook and each ch to end. (6 sc)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in next sc, 2 hdc in next sc, 2 dc in each of next 2 sc, 2 hdc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 1, sl st back in same st.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts, 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts, 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts.

Row 4: Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts, 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts, 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts.

Row 5: Ch 2, turn, sc in same st, *ch 2 sc in next st, cont. from * across. {This will form the top ruffle edge of the back of the sofa}

Row 6: Now work across seat area…Sl st back to beg ch. {Ch 1, sc in beg ch, 1 sc in each ch across}. (6 sc)

Row 7: Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each of the next 6 sc. (6 sc)

Row 8: Same as row 6...do not turn at the end of the row.

Rnd 9: Sl st in st of the arm …ch 1, 1 sc in the same st at back, work 1 sc in each st around bottom of the sides, back and front (remembering to catch the arm at the front on the other side). You will have about 2 sc on each side and the 6 in front and 6 in back. Sl st to first sc to join. (16 sc)

Rnd 10: Note: work this rnd in the back loops only. Ch 1, work 1 sc in each sc around, join with a sl st to the first sc.

Rnd 11: Note: Work this rnd through both loops. [[You can leave this rnd off if you want a shorter sofa]] Ch 1, 1 sc in each sc around, join with a sl st to the first sc.

Rnd 12: This rnd will form the feet of the sofa. [[First foot…you will work all the feet in this manner…Ch 2, thread over hook as if you are going to make a hdc, put hook through second ch from the hook, then thread over hook again and pull through, thread over hook again and pull through all the loops on the hook (hdc sl st)1 sc in same st (second ch from hook)]]; 1 sc in same st; 1 sc in each of next 2 sc; [[work next foot as before]]; 1 sc in same st; 1 sc in in each of next 2 sc; 1 sc 1 sc dec over next two sc; 1 sc in each of next 2 sc; [[work next foot as before]]; 1 sc in same st; 1 sc in each of next 2 sc; [[work foot as before]]; 1 sc in same st; 1 sc in each of next 2 sc; 1 sc dec over the next two sc; 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc; join to first sc. Break off and weave in the ends.
