Wash and dry. Soak with fabric stiffener, ring out any excess and place your crocheted mask over the face on the wig stand (make sure to cover the foam wig stand with plastic wrap). Pin your mask in place with stainless steel pins (stainless steel so they do not rust on your mask). Dry at least 24 hours or until completely dry. Remove and decorate as you wish.

RND 3: Sl st to ch 3 sp then in each ch 6 sp make 3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc, and sl st in each dc, Keep working around. Break off and weave in ends.

FLOWERS AND STREAMERS

NOTE: With No. 1 steel crochet hook and using the materials as before. Leave a long length of thread at the beginning and end for attaching this to your mask.

RND 1: Ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring. * Ch 6, sc in ring around until you have 12 petals.

RND 2: Ch 6, sc in ring between the center of each petal, around.

RND 3: Repeat rnd 2.

Three rnds make a nice flower, but you can add more petals in the same way if you wish. For the streamers take quite a few lengths of thread (mix different colors for flowers and streamers). Tie these all together then tie the flowers to the streamers. Now you can tie all of it to the mask or you could glue it on if you would rather.
