Factory - Platforming 1



- Proceed to Countdown
 BOSS BATTLE: COUNTDOWN (2400 HP)

Party: Mario, Geno, Bowser
Equips:
Mario: Mega Glove (でかパンチグローブ), Super Suit (スーパージャンパー), Attack Scarf (ジャンパースカーフ)
Geno: Double Punch (スーパーダブルパンチ), Work Pants (ばっちいパンツ), Safety Ring (セーフティーリング)
Bowser: Hurly Glove (ぶんなげグローブ)Work Pants (ばっちいパンツ), Troopa Pin (パタパタくんしょう)


Turn 1:
- Mario: Ultra Jump (ウルトラジャンプ) each enemy once
Untimed Boost (ジーノウェーブ) Mario (Timed Boost is safe, but will likely only be needed if both Bowser & Geno die before Turn 2)
- Rock Candy (
こんぺいとう)


Nobody dead:

Turn 2:
- Mario: Ultra Jump (ウルトラジャンプ) each enemy once
- Rock Candy
- Rock Candy
Turn 3:
- Attack until dead (If extra UJs were done on Countdown, you can skip Geno and / or Koopa's attack, or possibly do an untimed attack with Koopa.)


Geno dead & Bowser alive, or Bowser dead/disabled and Geno can heal:

Turn 2:
- Ultra Jump the Ding-A-Ling that was most damaged during first UJ set, and then continue UJs until a Rock Candy will kill the weakened Ding-A-Ling (must land on a Ding-A-Ling 7 times to kill without additional damage from the first UJ set). If it looks likely that you will do enough damage to both Ding-A-Lings to kill both with a Rock Candy, continue Ultra Jumping until this can be accomplished.
- Restore Koopa (Pick-Me-Up / Able Juice)
- Rock Candy
Turn 3:
- Attack until dead. Depending on the situation, Koopa should throw a 3rd Rock Candy (it is typically faster to do so, but if you have dealt significant damage to the remaining enemies with Ultra Jumps, conserving it may be more beneficial)


Both Bowser and Geno unusable: 

Turn 2:
- Super Jump a Ding-A-Ling 19 times (assumes you only landed on each Ding-A-Ling once with the initial UJ set) (26 SJs if the bell was healed by Recover)
Turn 3:
- Super Jump a Ding-A-Ling 19 times (assumes you only landed on each Ding-A-Ling once with the initial UJ set) (26 SJs if the bell was healed by Recover) OR heal with a Super Mushroom if Mario is in danger of dying
Turn 4:
- Attack / heal until dead. If you have the FP to Super Jump Countdown and skip his attacks and self-heals, do so. (Requires 36 FP)


Notes:
- Ding-A-Ling have 1200 HP each.
- Be alert for Ding-A-Ling physicals. These are easy to distinguish from their specials but hit hard if you're not paying attention.
- Be aware of the different phases of the clock:
1:00: Crystal or Ice Rock (Ice Rock instantly kills Mario)
3:00: 170 HP heal on either Countdown or a Ding-A-Ling (Countdown will not take an action next turn)
5:00: Aurora Flash (Note: This will put Mario to sleep. Consider using Group Hug if you have the FP for it)
6:00: 320 HP heal (Countdown will not take an action next turn)
7:00: Water Blast
9:00: Nothing
10:00: Petal Blast
12:00: Corona (if you see this something has gone terribly wrong)

There are some circumstances where you may kill Countdown before the Ding-A-Lings. If this happens, you will lose 47 EXP on all characters (94 EXP on Peach). This will affect Geno's damage for Cloaker / Domino, as well as Mario & Peach's damage to Clerk & Manager. Otherwise, the route will be unchanged.


- Continue through Factory

- If attempting the Wrong Warp, simply hold Up on your D Pad as soon as you enter the room after Machine Made Mack. Bounce back up on the trampoline to be warped to a further part of the room.

Party: Mario, Geno, Bowser

Notes:
- If anyone dies before being able to attack Domino, just attack with both characters until Domino dies
- If Bowser gets feared, and you have a spare Rock Candy (こんぺいとう), he should use that instead of attacking
- If anything goes wrong or you mistime any attacks in the first 2 turns, make sure you end on Geno's turn so that the Earthlink phase starts with Mario.
- Do your best to block Cloaker's attackrock throwknife throw, and Earthlink's attack and Carni-Kiss.
