About Our Club

The Sunshine Coast Rod and Gun Club ("SCRGC") is an organization devoted to the pursuit of the outdoor lifestyle. 

Formed over sixty years ago, SCRGC provides a venue for people who enjoy hunting, target shooting, archery, fishing and the beauty of nature.

SCRGC supports programs such as the Roosevelt Elk Relocation and Salmonid Enhancement on the Sunshine Coast.

SCRGC contributes to community initiatives such as the Elves Club Christmas Hamper and the Food Bank, as well as providing bursaries for students at the Gibsons, Sechelt and Pender Harbour high schools.

SCRGC is a non-profit society providing facilities for Club members interested in hunting, shooting, archery, and fishing.

SCRGC facilities include outdoor ranges for Shotgun (Trap & Skeet), Rifle, Pistol and Archery, as well as an indoor range for rimfire rifle and handgun and centerfire handgun target shooting.

Training Opportunities at the Sunshine Coast Rod and Gun Club.

SCRGC members regularly conduct classes for the CORE program, a prerequisite for obtaining a Hunter Licence.

SCRGC also offers classes for training Juniors (under 18) in the proper and safe handling of firearms.
