Relieving Administration Assistant / Manager

Sunshine 60 and Better Group Inc. is a community development healthy ageing program designed to meet the expressed needs of older people in local settings. The current manager is on leave, returning mid August.  We are seeking a suitably experienced manager / administrative assistant who is able to step into the the role in the manager's absence and then continue to provide support in the role as a PA for several weeks upon the manager's return.  There is potential for an ongoing role as a personal assistant.

Selection Criteria.

  1. Detailed knowledge of Government funding and grant applications, budgeting and financial program reporting
  2. Ensure the Management Committee are provide with the support, information, and expertise required to effectively meet their responsibilities.
  3. The ability to supervise and train volunteers as well as manage staff within policy guidelines
  4. Ensure the service runs effectively and efficiently on a day by day basis
  5. Liaise with other 60 & Better Groups, Branches and other organizations to keep up-to date with relevant information regarding seniors' interests.

 Applications will close at the end of business July 10th, with interviews to be held July 14th.  It is hoped that the successful applicant will consider commencing duties on July 17th.
