As you know, the band performed today (Saturday), at
the University of Arizona Band Day. This was the final event for the marching
band this year in the festival arena, and all of the student's hard work paid
off. The students earned another rating of "Good." While we did not qualify for
the State Marching Band Festival, the students showed DRASTIC improvement,
increasing their score overall by TWELVE points in a week! To jump that much in
marching band is nearly unheard of, which shows just how much our students can
accomplish when they put their mind to it.
If you have/see band students,
PLEASE tell them that they are awesome and congratulations!
