Terms and Conditions By making a booking with us you agree
to these Ts & Cs. Please read: Thank
you for choosing to book with us. The following terms and conditions apply to
your booking. They form the terms of a legally binding contract between us and
you.
The Total price payable includes accommodation and breakfast for the number of
nights stated on your booking.
Deposit
A non refundable deposit of the first night’s stay is required at the time of
booking, and booking confirmed once cheque has cleared, or BACs payment
has been received. (please ask for banking details). Prior to that the
booking will only be regarded as provisional. Failure to pay this amount
entitles us to re-let the room. Acknowledgement of deposit confirms a booking. Payment
for the full amount due will be paid on arrival if booking is made 7 days or
less before arrival date. Payment
Any outstanding balance is payable on departure. Since we are a small business,
only cash and card-warranted cheques are acceptable. There will be a charge in the event of breakages/damage, breach of
no-smoking policy or any extras incurred. Cancellation by you Deposit
is non refundable for cancellations notified more than 7 days before arrival,
but no further charge is liable for the remainder of the booking.
Where notice of cancellation is given 7 days or less before arrival, or failure
to check in (no-show) or departure is before due departure date, we reserve the
right to charge for the full balance due for the whole booking period,
less any costs not incurred by us as a result of your cancellation.
Any notice of cancellation should be advised by email or phone . We recommend
that our guests take out travel insurance which provides for cancellation
cover.
Cancellation by us.
We would only
cancel a confirmed booking if the accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond
our control. We would however attempt to offer our guest/s alternative accommodation.
If this was not possible, or unacceptable, then we would refund all
monies paid by our guest/s for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this
refund.
Arrival and Departure
Check in from 3pm until 7.30pm. Other check in times may be possible by
prior arrangement.
Guests are requested to vacate their room by 10.00am on the day of departure. We reserve
the right to charge for an additional nights stay if rooms are not vacated by
then.
Damage and Breakage
We are sure that our guests will take care during their stay, and we
acknowledge that accidents sometimes happen. We do however reserve the right to
charge for any damage or breakages which we consider was deliberately or
recklessly caused. Guests will be notified in writing as soon as is
reasonably practicable, if the damage is discovered after departure. We also reserve
the right to charge further sums if we are unable to re-let the room as a
consequence of the damage. Sunnycroft Farmhouse is a no Smoking
Establishment. If we find that guests have been smoking in the room, then we
reserve the right to ask them to leave immediately, and they remain liable for
the whole of the cost the booking. Whether or not guests are asked to leave we
also reserve the right to charge a sum equivalent to one night’s stay if we are
unable to re-let the room for 24 hours whilst it is fully aired. Notice
will be given in writing as soon as is reasonably practicable if evidence of
smoking is discovered after guests depart.
Pets In consideration of other guests, we do not allow pets.
Our Liability
We do not accept any liability for damage to guests property or injury
sustained whilst on our premises.
Data
Any data collected as a result of guests' booking will be stored in accordance
with the provisions of current Data Protection legislation.
Law
Any dispute between us will be governed by the non-exclusive law of the
Scottish Courts. |
