Holly
 Joubert, Psy.D.
Licensed Psychologist/Owner & Director
 
Dr. Joubert is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist. She accepts legally-involved and court-ordered cases to conduct assessments, interviews, evaluations, and consultations, and can be hired for expert witness evaluation and testimony. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, completed CPT training, and completed training to be a trainer in Aggression Replacement Therapy. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Southern Arizona Psychological Association. 

Clinically, Dr. Joubert provides assessment, individual, family, and group therapy for children, teens, and adults. She specializes in chronic health-related concerns, trauma, performance, ADHD, anxiety, depression, assessment, and sleep disorders. 

Dr. Joubert is the founder of Sunlight Center for Change, L.L.C. A licensed psychologist, she received her doctorate in clinical and forensic psychology from the University of Denver. Raised in Tucson, she is also a University of Arizona Wildcat who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Musical Theatre. Dr. Joubert is a past president for the Southern Arizona Psychological Association board. Her former professional positions have included Manager of the psychology department at Sierra Tucson, Training Director for the Student Program at Sierra Tucson, Executive and Clinical Director at Vision Quest, and Clinical Supervisor at the Youth Development Institute.  


Scott Padilla, Psy.D.
 
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Padilla is a licensed clinical psychologist. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. in 2011. He joined Sunlight Center for Change in July 2017.

Dr. Padilla provides individualized strategies to his clients so that they may overcome struggles related to depression, anxiety, self-injury, trauma, challenges within a relationship, and structural difficulties within the home. His specialty is working with teens and young adults, and also enjoys working with couples and groups.


Dr. Padilla is committed to joining his clients where they are and working together to get where they want to go. Striving to create a relaxed environment where establishing trust and building the therapeutic relationship can happen as quickly and naturally as possible. Dr. Padilla's goal is to empower his clients and help them discover the tools they need in order to overcome obstacles and find balance in their lives. 



Virginia Pope, LAMFT
Therapist 

Virginia Pope is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Arizona. She received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University and her Bachelors in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona. GO CATS! 


Virginia's therapeutic approach is integrative and based on clients' individualized needs. The main therapies she draws on are Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and strength-based. Virginia specializes in systemic work including couples and families, but also enjoys working with adults, children, and teens individually. Virginia strives to create a nurturing and safe environment for therapeutic work and prides herself on building a positive therapeutic relationship with all her clients. Virginia has completed the training through the Supervised Visitation Network for conducting Therapeutic Supervised Visits and is the lead therapist in the TSV Program at SCC.
