Families Forward

Our Families Forward program begins with a prescreening and intake of the family to develop a personalized family treatment plan and to determine if they are ready for this program. Families who wish to continue in Families Forward services must agree to discontinuing additional Court motions in order to be fully invested in the treatment process. Family treatment plans may include multiple services depending on the need and at what point they are starting. These usually begin with both parents participating in our Co-Parenting for Change class to learn the core concepts necessary for healthy co-parenting situations. Other services may include family therapy, reunification, supervised services, and/or assessment.

Fees vary depending on services needed.

Therapeutic Supervision

SCC’s therapeutic supervised visitations create an ongoing relationship between a parent and child by observing their contact in a safe and structured environment. This allows the clinician to intervene and correct behavior, teaching the parent appropriate parenting skills. Clinicians, who monitor these visitations, then offer guidance to the court based on their observations.

Reunification

SCC also offers reunification therapy. Reunification therapy helps reintroduce a parent back into a child’s life creating a new and secure bond with one another under the supervision of a clinician. This is usually a combination of the above services.

Fee for services $150-$250 per hour.

Supervised Visitation

Our supervised visitation program provides direct services for parents in high conflict or high risk situations, allowing them access to their children in a safe and supervised setting. This helps the focus to be on the safety and well-being of the children.

Fee for services $60/hour

Supervised Exchanges

Supervised exchange services are available on a limited basis. Must complete an intake with our agency to begin the process. Call for availability.

Fee $60/intake, $20/exchange during business hours, $40 other times.

Additional fees may apply and are available upon request of fee schedule.

Family Therapy

Family Therapy is a specialized service offered through SCC. It is designed to work with the unique and specialized needs of families who are going through struggles and/or crises. Families who have sought services in the past have worked on improving communication, effective problem-solving, behavior management, household structure in one or multiple homes, team/relationship building, trust, and attachment issues to name a few. The process starts when the family members complete intakes to help the treatment team better understand their perspectives and concerns. Treatment plans are specialized to meet the needs of the family and may involve some or multiple members of the family in differing combinations. Families may also be Court involved and/or in various stages of separation or divorce. Services are provided by trained professionals with specialization in this area. Fees depend on the level of experience of the provider assigned with a best fit for the family.
