Here is a little info on Karen (Click here for her site). She has written a new book:  Flirting with Monasticism. She is the National Spokesperson for the Presbyterian Emerging church community. She travels around the country speaking and connecting with various groups. Our conversation on Oct 28th will no doubt cover this idea of New Monasticism and also what is happening with the emerging church and the Presbyterian church. If you have an interest in spiritual formation, where the Presbyterian church is headed in the near future, or if you just want some good food, this night is for you. It's okay if you have not been to our group before or if you come all the time. All are welcome. Anticipate the opportunity to connect with some new faces from our community and from other church communities as well. Should be a great time!!
