More Evidence That TV is Dumbing Us Down

Though many won’t want to believe it, it appears that science is again confirming the innate wisdom of many parents around the world who say “Switch off the TV, it’ll turn your brain to mush”. A long term study conducted by Tina D. Hoang (M.S.P.H.) of the Northern California Institute for Research and Education at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco, Kristine Yaffe (M.D.) of the University of California, San Francisco, and coauthors, investigated the relationships between 25-year patterns of television viewing, physical activity and midlife cognition.
The study surveyed the viewing habits of 3,247 young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 using a questionnaire to assess levels of television viewing and physical activity over a 25 year period. ‘High levels of television viewing’ was defined as more than three hours of screen time a day, and exercise was measured as units based on time and intensity. Cognitive function was measured after a 25 year period, using three tests that evaluated processing speed, executive function and verbal memory.
The authors state, “In this biracial cohort followed for 25 years, we found that low levels of physical activity and high levels of television viewing during young to mid-adulthood were associated with worse cognitive performance in midlife. In particular, these behaviors were associated with slower processing speed and worse executive function but not with verbal memory. Participants with the least active patterns of behavior (i.e., both low physical activity and high television viewing time) were the most likely to have poor cognitive function… Individuals with both low physical activity and high sedentary behavior may represent a critical target group”.
While the authors acknowledge that there are limitations to the study, including possible selection bias and the fact that the data was self-reported, it is more likely than not that the findings are accurate, especially considering the way the powers-that-be are clearly pursuing an agenda aimed at ‘dumbing down’ the world population.
While many people would like to think that television is just a cheap form of harmless news and entertainment, social scientists have long been aware of the fact that the media, and in particular television, are used as tools not just to subtly influence mass consciousness, but to manufacture individual mindsets that are malleable and compliant with the mainstream paradigm. The content shared on television is carefully designed by some of the best scientists in the world, using cutting edge knowledge of our psychological make-up, to ensure that the values and agendas of the elite are normalised and accepted as natural by the wider population.

The practice of having ‘experts’, anchormen, and celebrities providing us with easily digestible content that doesn’t require us to think critically and independently, gets us into the disempowering, brain-numbing habit of accepting and conforming to the directives of external ‘higher’ authorities. This is one aspect of how social brainwashing and ‘dumbing down’ is achieved. There is also evidence that not only is the carefully devised content being used to manipulate and control the minds of the populace, but the technology is implicated as well.

Take Back our Stories and our Power
Societies have always been defined by their stories. People learn about themselves, important past events, and the beliefs and meanings of their group through the narratives they tell. In today’s society our stories have been high-jacked. They are no longer a product of the group; instead they are imposed onto the group by those who understand that controlling the stories of a nation is a key to controlling the people.

Everyone is naturally capable of generating unique and original ideas, however, as we become increasingly accustomed to consuming pre-packed entertainment and information, our creative and imaginative abilities dwindle. Creativity comes from within. When we are creative we feel connected to our deeper aspects and to our innate inner power and wisdom. Television is the antithesis of creativity. When we sit in front of a television screen our brains becomes passive and instead of generating meaningful independent content, we become captivated by the spoon-fed subject matter (unlike reading a book where many parts of the brain are active and involved in creating internal visual content, and we can pause at will to ponder what we take in). In this TV induced state, our bodies and brains are largely inactive, absorbing and functioning in a slow, nearly hypnotised state.

As I read the details of this study I was struck by the fact that both television viewing and physical exercise have a clear relationship to creativity. Higher levels of physical activity are associated with higher levels of creativity and higher levels of television viewing are associated with lower levels of creativity. Finally, imagination and creativity are closely associated with high levels of cognitive function as the more developed we are in terms of creativity and imagination the more neural connections are formed and strengthened in our brains. Therefore creativity may well be the missing link in this study. So in order to take back our health, intelligence and power, and cease allowing ourselves to be ‘dumbed down’, we need to turn off our centrally controlled televisions. We need to stop accepting an ‘entertaining substitute’ to living designed to subtly shape us into compliant consumers, and start actively creating our own lives, stories, and ultimately reality, in line with our deepest passions and dreams.

The newly elected Canadian government led by Justin Trudeau has been advised to send troops to Washington DC and New York city in order to liberate the American people from the fascist oligarchs who seized power there in an illegal coup d’etat following the September 11, 2001 false flag attacks. The suggestion was made by the White Dragon Society in the following message sent to Trudeau on December 14th, 2015:
“The White Dragon Society is offering to fully support Justin Trudeau if he orders the Canadian military to march on Washington DC and New York city in order to arrest the criminals there responsible for illegal invasions and mass murder.” As Alexander the Great said, “fortune favours the bold.” Trudeau can either head a feel good rainbow nation and endlessly discuss such things as “gender issues” or, he can seize destiny by the horns and liberate the planet by freeing the American people.
The WDS message to Trudeau also read “We promise the support of Europe, the Pentagon, and the BRICS alliance if Trudeau will help rid the world of the rogue non-state actors based in the US. ” Senior pentagon officials say they will cooperate with the Canadian military if they move on these two cities with the intent of arresting the criminals based there.
They are also willing to contemplate integrating the United States into the United States of Canada if such a move is supported by the people in a fair vote. The Rothschild/European royal family faction in de facto control of Europe also supports the WDS according to a special envoy sent to meet with WDS representatives in Tokyo last week, WDS sources said.
Meanwhile, the Khazarian mafia controlled country of Israel sent their President, Reuven Rivlen last week to meet US corporate government spokesman Barack Obama. At the meeting Rivlen asked for the American regime to supply Israel with 10 years worth of arms. He was told “no” just as his boss, war criminal Benyamin Netanyahu, was told in November.
The fact that Israeli involvement in ISIS and oil theft from the Middle East is now well known amongst all the world’s military and intelligence agencies means the rogue regime there has no state backers left except Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
The desperate request for US arms came as the war against the Saudi, Israeli, Turkish and Nazi mercenary army alliance in the Middle East is intensifying. On that front Pentagon sources say Russia launched cruise missiles last week for the second time in recent days. The launch was intended as a warning to Turkey, Israel and “ISIS in Libya,” that the Russians were ready to use nuclear weapons if necessary to stop the ongoing theft of oil by these rogue actors.
When Russian President Vladimir Putin recently said he “hopes nuclear weapons are not needed to fight terrorists,” he was referring to their state sponsors Israel, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The Russians also have “standing orders to sink Turkish and Israeli submarines,” the pentagon sources said. Keep in mind that both the Turkish and Israeli air-forces are grounded and their navies are blockaded.
The regime in Saudi Arabia may well collapse before any need arises to use nuclear weapons. The latest Iranian news reports claim that Yemeni troops have “launched an attack on the al-Sidrah military base in the Waziʼiyah district of Ta’izz.”

If that is true then Yemeni troops are now in striking distance of the Saudi Political capital of Riyadh and the religious capital of Mecca. No wonder all the various princes are emptying their bank accounts and fleeing the country.

This is now being seen in the corporate media as can be shown in the fact that CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield Tuesday morning said that “From a period of 1980 to 1985 there were a reported 18 terror attacks committed in the United States by Jews, 15 of them committed by the Jewish Defense League.”

Clearly the corporate media is finally realizing they must either start reporting the truth or else go extinct.
The US presidential election is not going according to the cabal script either. The Rothschilds want their hand picked candidate Hillary Clinton to take over as President of the US corporate government next year but that is looking increasingly unlikely as she faces criminal charges.
Jeb Bush, the candidate of the eternal “war on terror” faction of the cabal is already out of the presidential picture and may also soon be in jail.
Meanwhile, Republican front runner Donald Trump has cancelled his trip to Israel because “he knows Israel nuked America on 911,” CIA sources say.

Is anyone else having a hard time going through what often appears to be the same old news? Is it just me, or are we seeing a change of attitude and consciousness manifesting in lieu of this incessant and increasing barrage of repetitive headlines?
An interesting question.
This does seem to happen to myself periodically but it continues to take on an almost sneaky, changing nature. While I get weary of it at times, on the other hand the vibrations of this massive awakening continue to arouse and inspire which brings everything into play with renewed interest and passion.
I have to say, this morphing enigma called change of consciousness continues to confound and amaze me.
Tracking and Tacking
Sailing life’s seas is an art. Seasoned sailors can use any wind to their advantage, even opposing ones via a technique called tacking, using the oncoming wind to literally create a vacuum that draws the ship forward. The illustration below shows how this is possible, which is done using the ship’s fore and aft sails that need to be re-set on every turn into the wind. (See here for a basic explanation.)
We appear to be in just such a time. The powers that shouldn’t be appear to be unleashing more and more of their weapons against humanity and we certainly need to keep shifting our sails as we navigate these manipulated headwinds.
No doubt this barrage coming at us can be quite daunting at times, with so many so eager to swallow the party line in the name of “security”. It’s a sad sight to behold, but then again, don’t believe everything you see and hear.
The state controlled media is downplaying anything that doesn’t fit their narrative, so any statistics or volumes of coverage do not indicate any form of reality. I’m not trivializing the amount of people that fall for all of this, but let’s not let the would-be-controllers minimize the growing numbers that are connecting the dots and realizing what’s really going on.
This is why we need to keep up our full frontal attack, exposing the hypocrisy and agenda with real facts and founded understandings.

Rough Days and Days That Amaze
Slogging through the headlines each day can be quite unpleasant. It is information, at least for many of us, that we need to be aware of in order to keep our fingers on the pulse of what’s going on.
But it can weigh on you. The brutality and carnage with hardly a peep of public outrage against the injustices is downright discouraging at times. We know it’s but a symptom of a very serious parasitic virus that has invaded our planet and has been confusing and consuming it for a long time, but the inhumanity can wear on us as each day seems to be fraught with high crimes and atrocities.
However, the other side of the coin is bright and beautiful. Despite the blacked-out backdrop of this current attempt to draw humanity into a new dark age, people are waking up. As noted before, it is often through very trying circumstances that individuals are finally willing to open their eyes to what’s going on around them and consider an alternative world view, for starters.
People also dig deep for spiritual answers to put everything in context. This is good. It’s a shame so many have to be forced to get serious about such issues, but if that’s what it takes, so be it.
The beauty of the opportunity before us now is the wildly accelerating connectivity taking place over the internet. Besides finding others of like mind and similar new found realizations, knowledge that was once sequestered deep in old libraries or government dossiers is now readily available. On virtually any subject!
This it a first for humanity and a total game changer.
Never Underestimate the Power of Awakened Truth
It’s said the pen is mightier than the sword. Do we believe that? If so, just search and count how many internet pages cover any one of the hundreds of alternative research subjects or independent media reports.
It’s inestimable. Why? Because it continues to grow exponentially. Those who wake up are vocal, they share their new found knowledge and findings. Truth is contagious.
Do you think the media presstitutes or government lackeys would ever report the full truth about this “truth movement” phenomenon, except disparagingly? They have unlimited assets and millions of paid employees to micromanage the mainstream media. And we’re not part of it.
And what about this massive truth movement, the alternative research community and the growing number of independent media outlets? That’s the beauty of it. We have no leader. We have no contrived agenda. We are spontaneous and there’s nothing they can do about it except try to muzzle us.
Herein lies the rub. We don’t stop. We are driven by passion, to them it’s just a job. We and truth are like water, we weave and move where the openings are, openings they cannot control as hard as they try.
So sail on into the wind, keep sowing seeds along the way, and even occasionally look back to see how far you’ve come for your own encouragement. And on a clear day you may get a glimpse of the massive armada of other ships just like you advancing into the fray!
There is a lot to be encouraged about…but there’s still a whole lot to do!
