Try Solar Cooking Today!

Solar cooking is great. Cooking in a solar cooker is easy, fun, natural, and nutritious, while helping the environment. Many people around the world solar cook for different reasons. Many refugees in Sudan use solar cookers to prepare their food and pasteurize water due to lack of firewood or stoves. Also to many people in India and China, solar cookers are part of their every day life because of fuel shortages in those countries. Here in the U.S. you don't hear much about solar cooking but you can still solar cook! Americans can use solar cookers for camping, fishing, or just cooking. You can put the sun to work! There are many great designs on the internet that one can build. I chose to construct a solar cooker called the fun-panel cooker designed by a man named Teong H Tan. On this website I will demonstrate how easy, fun, cheap, and delicious solar cooking is with the Fun-Panel cooker.
