Starting on the 1st of January, 2014, I am a tenure-track Scientist at Research Center for Informatics (Pusat Penelitian Informatika), Indonesian Institute of Science (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia, LIPI) in Cibinong and Bandung. I am team leader of the LIPI Team in ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) Collaboration at CERN, the first research group in experimental nuclear and particle physics in Indonesia. The LIPI ALICE Team is active in grid/high performance computing, the ALICE O2 (Online-Offline) Computing Upgrade, and ALICE ITS (Inner Tracking System) Upgrade.
Outside high-energy physics, I am interested in control systems, instrumentations, software and computer engineering, data acquisition, and high performance computing.
I did my postdoc with the experimental high energy physics group at Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Califonia, Riverside, worked under the supervision of Bob Clare and Steve Wimpenny. I was a member of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Collaboration at CERN, The European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland. My CMS work focused on physics of the top quark and search for new physics in the top sector, and the commissioning and operation of the endcap muon detector.
My PhD was at Department of Physics, Florida State University and D0 Collaboration at Fermilab, under the supervision of Todd Adams. My dissertation title was "First measurement of top quark pair production cross-section in muon plus hadronic tau final states". My undergraduate was at the Department of Physics, University of Indonesia. I worked with the research group of Terry Mart and Darmadi Kusno (deceased) on phenomenology in hadronic physics.
