I am currently  After-treatment (diesel engine) Control Development Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. Mossville, IL. I received my Masters in Mechanical Engineering from  University at Buffalo(UB)  in September 2010. I worked with Prof. Venkat Krovi in the Dynamics and Control Group during my MS. My MS-thesis primarily focused on development of non-linear control of articulated multibody systems and its real time application. In my thesis I explored controller formulation based on automated symbolic computation. The example systems chosen to demonstrate successful implementation, are Quanser's Rotary Inverted Pendulum and Quanser’s high definition haptics device HD2.

I completed Bachelor degree in marine engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2003. My undergraduate specialization was marine diesel engines. Prior coming to UB I worked with British Petroleum Shipping as marine engineering officer. There I worked in the capacity of team leader and was officer-in-charge of marine electric generators, pumps, fuel purification/ separator plant and boilers etc.
