Assignment-1: Modelling of Induction Machine in MATLAB/SIMULINK

Results to be taken in the following format.

(i) Apply three phase 50 Hz 400V LL rms voltage in step and plot rotor speed w.r.t time. Plot also stator current components w.r.t time. Assume that load torque is constant at 10N-m.

(ii) Plot electromagnetic torque w.r.t time.

Assignment-2: Development of indirect vector control of Induction Motor in MATLAB/SIMULINK

Condition: Machine is operated at 1 pu flux. Load toque is 10 N-m

Results to be taken in the following format.

(i) Plot rotor speed w.r.t time under the step change (0 to 50 to 100rad/s) of command rotor speed.

(ii) Plot ids and iqs w.r.t time.

Machine parameters are:

Rated shaft power = 2.2kW, Line-to-line voltage = 400V rms, Pole pair = 2, Rated speed = 1450 rpm, No load current = 1A, Full load current = 4.5A, Lm=670mH, Lsl= Lsl=14.3mH, Rs=5.71Ohm, Rr=4.08Ohm
