Div 1


Newtown Blues (+63) have eight points from four games played, Oliver Plunketts (+43)  have jumped into second place with six from five games, Geraldines (+) have six from four games Dk Young Irelands (-8) have slipped to fourth place on six points.



Div 2 A


St Mary’s (+38) have eight points from four games, St Josephs (+17) have eight points. St Mochtas (+10) have four from four.

Clan na Gael (+51) have full points from five games and Cooley Kickhams (+58) have eight points from five games.

Sean's opened the scoring in the first minute with a goal but clans responded nearly immediately with a well taken goal from Dean O’Donnell. The teams remained very close up till half time trading points with Sean's leading by a point at half time 1- 05 to 1 – 04.  Sean's got the perfect start to the second half with a goal but Clans soon got a grip and went on a scoring spree that Sean's had no response to ending up easy winners.

Four second half goals and another eight points earned Cooley and emphatic win in this under 16 game. Emmet Rogan was their star of the show scoring 2 – 09, Patrick Hanlon, Emmet McGuigan and Michael McGlynn got their other goals. Peter Phorntom had a good game in goals, Fiachra Malone, Daniel Hanlon, Patrick Hanlon and Cathal Quinn defended very solidly. Conor McGuinness and James Loughran dominate in the middle of the field and Niall McGuinness, Luke White and Cian McGooey did well in the forwards. Cooley had a six points lead at half time.

St Bride’s (+47) have eight points from four games, N Fionnbarra/St Kevins (+52) have six from four and Baile Talun (-11) have six points from four games.

Baile Talun started strongly with a couple of points in Ballygassan. The home combination however took control halfway through the first half and managed to build a sizeable lead throughout the game.

Conor Callan was unbeatable in goals for the winners, Patrick McGrane, Ricky Dolan and Kyle Murphy were very solid in the full back line and Hugh Osborne, Michael McKenna and Patrick Malone turned a lot of defence into attack and with midfielders Conor Lenehan and Ciaran Lynch they gave their forwards a plentiful supply of ball.

Cian Callan scored 3 – 01 and Sean Callan 2 - 03, Brendan Murphy, Danaan McMahon, Darren McMullen, Thomas Gregory, and Cillian Madden all played well up front.
