On Wednesday evening in Tullyallen a tightly contested game was played out between Glen Emmets U-15 and Naomh Finbarr U-15. Best on the night for the Tullyallen side were Gareth Delaney, Adam O Kane and Ben Hillard.
Naomh Fionnbarra came back strongly after a somewhat slow start with fantastic work from Hugh Osborne and Patrick McGrane leading to scores from Michael McArdle, Matthew Monahan and Caolan Leech. Brendan Simms in goals for Togher was exceptional throughout. The game was level at half time. The host team struck again early in the second half and built up a commanding lead. However the Togher side never gave up and through strong work from Cillian Crosbie Ricky Dolan and Patrick Sharkey they stayed within touching distance right to the end.
