Suzanne is certified as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.  She has taken classes in CPR, Perinatal Fitness, Nutrition Fundamentals, Complete Core Care, Aqua Aerobics, Floor Core & More and others. Before becoming involved in the health and fitness field, she taught English as a Second Language (ESL) at the college/university level, holding an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a B.A. in Linguistics and French. She has a total of 18 years experience teaching adults.


Suzanne has worked with a variety of Personal Training clients and has taught a range of fitness classes. She started her fitness career in 2005 teaching stroller fitness classes.  She has since taught outdoor fitness classes, aqua aerobics, stretch, and gliding. She is currently teaching GO Fitness, a program that integrates an outdoor exercise class, which combines cardio, strength, flexibility and balance, with group discussions about living the SWEET Life.


As an ESL Instructor for 16 years, I enjoyed helping people help themselves. Now, as a Fitness Trainer and SWEET Life Coach, I want to turn that concept towards America’s health crisis. When you start a healthy lifestyle program, you start as a regular person. After completing the program for a month or more, you have a healthier, more balanced lifestyle. You are improved.  It’s all about balancing sleep, water, eating, exercise, and tranquility. All are necessary elements in a healthy, happy life.

The beach inspires me because it’s generally consistent (sand, water, sky), but it’s ever-changing (the waves, the patterns in the sand, the birds, the wind, the cloud patterns). In the same way, the SWEET Life always comprises the same five elements, but the methods used to incorporate the elements into one's lifestyle are customized to each individual.
