Italian Hot Dogs


Hot dogs (kosher beef hot dogs)

Hoagie rolls

1 bell pepper

1 cup of slices red onion

1 large potato, washed and sliced. 


-Wash potato and thinly slice. Toss in a bowl with 1 tb oil, salt, pepper and paprika.

-In a skillet heat some vegetable oil, saute the potatoes, stirring often. 

- Meanwhile (while the potatoes are cooking) Slice the bell pepper and onion and toss with 1 TB oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. 

-Once the potatoes are done, add the bell peppers and onions right into the skillet with the potatoes and saute for about 3-5 min. The veggies should still be tender. 

-I used hoagie rolls (traditionally you are supposed to use Italian bread) I heated up the rolls on a skillet, and the grilled the hot dogs. 

-Assemble your hot dog by spreading mayo on the hoagie roll, adding the veggies, hotdog and ketchup.
