Of Good Friends

All rant and blabber and penny-ante talk,
At some point they all stop,
It is a true friend beyond that line,
No speech is needed to speak your mind,
And to quell the argumentative bust-up no speech does enough.

Such is true friendship, with such friends have a walk,
But at some point all will stop,
Some will fly beyond time, some beyond distance and these paths may never again intertwine,
None will be lost to strength and dime though, this hope stays behind,
Let such friendship be blessed in the buff.

Today as such friends leave, upon good times I look back,
Indeed so fast time does plop,
It is not everyday that one does make such friends fine,
Never again such great friendship I might find,
Yet I know with those memories I will live through life's each trough.
