As most of you probably already know, companies from all over the world rely on positive word of mouth to help them with their marketing efforts. It used to be that simply telling a friend about a company was the way to go, which was a great, albeit slow process. That all changed with the internet, and in particular with social media and online forums. People can now post their feelings about a company or service immediately after using it, which in turn means, we can all get instant reviews that will let us know what is good or bad about a particular company.
I have found this to be an invaluable help to my internet marketing efforts, especially since I have employed the help of a number of different pieces of software and tools to help with my marketing efforts. Had I not had access to those reviews, I would have likely thrown a ton of money down the drain on programs and systems that would have been a complete waste of my time. Suffice to say, whenever I hear or read about a new program that may help me with my marketing, I immediately take to the forums to see what the word is on the street, so to speak.
I recently received an e-mail prompting me to check out a new advertising program called Submission Works. I followed the link to the sales page and was impressed by what I read there, although I still had the usual doubts about any program that sounds great. The basic idea of Submission Works is that you enter up to 7 URL’s into the software and then sit back and watch as a flood of targeted traffic makes its way to all of those sites. It sounded fantastic to me, but the simplicity of the program worried me a little. I decided to do a little bit more research before paying the $59 monthly membership fee.
There are all kinds of internet marketing related forums across the internet, but I have 4 or 5 that I trust completely when I am looking for honest feedback. I have developed something of a relationship with many of the members of these forums and know that I can trust whatever it is they have to say. I went to each of the forums to see what I could find out about Submission Works, and as is always the case when I do my due diligence, I found the answers that I was looking for.
Since the program was still relatively new when I found out about it, I was only able to find discussions regarding SW on 3 of my favorite forums. It turns out that was more than enough, because the people who were talking about it were all buzzing about how great it was and how much it had turned around their internet marketing fortunes. One member in particular took the time to provide me with a detailed report on how SW worked, as well as the great results he had received. I thanked him for the info by signing up under his link, and I am now on those forums raving about my own successes using Submission Works.
