Ground Beef Korean Beef

1lb Ground beef
1T Sesame seed oil
3   Garlic cloves, minced
¼C Brown sugar
¼C Soy sauce
½t  Fresh ginger, minced (or 1/8 ground ginger)
Black pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional)
6 Green onions, chopped

Cooked white rice

1. In a large skillet heat the sesame oil and garlic, add ground beef & cook until browned.

2. In a small bowl combine brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger & pepper.

3. When the hamburger is browned, drain and return to the pan.  Pour the sugar/soy sauce mixture over the mean, mix it all together and simmer mean 5-7 min.

4. Serve over white rice.
