Sorry about all the zeros in front of some of the numbers. It's the only way to make the sorting work.

Scroll to the bottom of any list and you'll see a link to the data sheet. Click that link and you'll be able to sort any column.

Start Slow
You can go out on race day at 6:30s and survive sub3, but I recommend nothing under 7:00.

6:40 muscle memory
6:40 per mile is faster than sub3 pace, but remember you're running faster than sub3 pace in the last 10 miles...6:40 fast.

Lightweight Training Shoes
Not gonna give you a specific shoe, but slogging around in 12oz clunkers won't help you in the turnover department.

You have to have 6 minute mile speed inorder to run a sub 3 hour marathon.
