NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD - Chaos descends upon the world as the brains of the recently deceased become inexplicably reanimated, causing the dead to rise and feed on human flesh. SHOCK - Dr. Cross (Vincent Price), a psychiatrist, is treating a young woman, Janet Stewart (Anabel Shaw), who is in a coma-state, brought on when she heard loud arguing, went to her window and saw a man strike his wife with a candlestick and kill her. As she comes out of her shock, she recognizes Dr. Cross as the killer. He takes her to his sanitarium and urged by his nurse/lover, Elaine Jordan (Lynn Bari), gives Janet an overdose of insulin. But he can't bring himself to murder her in cold blood and asks Elaine to get the medicine to save her. She refuses, they argue, and he strangles her. He saves Janet's life, but now faces two murder charges.


SLAVE OF THE CANNIBAL GOD – Sergio Martino’s Slave of the Cannibal God depicts an expedition in an unforgiving jungle, very graphic human and animal violence, and survival in the face of cannibals.  The drop-dead gorgeous Ursula Andress leads a search party to find her lost husband.  Along the way, the dreaded natives force her to strip naked, and endure a hideous act.  The jungle scenery is incredible, and the action is extremely intense…Definitely not for the faint of heart. – R – Ursula Andress, Stacy Keach

TANGLED – Once a kid is on the line, the whole world is tangled!  Diamond, a beautiful woman, lives a reckless life of motorcycles, drugs, fast deals and dangerous men.  Her first love Carlos, suddenly re-emerges after four years in prison.  He wants to be back in her life and now realizes the four year old boy she has is his son.  He wants his son, he wants him all to himself.  Carlos teams up with Wolf, a menacing drug dealer.  Wolf’s lawyer, Denny, helped Carlos get out of prison, now he’s in love with Diamond.  Things get serious when Denny dies in a car bombing.  Soon Diamond’s son is kidnapped by Carlos and his men.  Diamond enlists the help of everyone, including the police.  Desperate, she goes on a massive cross country hunt for her son.  The action explodes as Carlos tries to get his son back, the police try to find the bomber, and Diamond tries to save herself and her son from the ensuing chaos. – NR – Yolanda Androzzo, Alfredo Vincente, Rich Komenich

THREE MUSCATELS, THE – Donna Bon Viant, a college student, has to complete an assignment on the 14th Century for her African American Lit class.  She chooses as her subject matter Alexander Dumas “The Three Musketeers”.  While reading the book she falls asleep and dreams the zany adventure of “The Three Muscatels”.  All the characters in her dreams are students from her Lit class, her family and people she encountered that day, including a drunk named Russell who was drinking Muscatel wine. – NR – Richard Pryor, Flynn Pryor


THREE STOOGES, THE – This hysterical disc contains four classic Stooges short films: “Brideless Groom,” “Disorder in the Court,” “Sing a Song of Six Pants,” and “Malice in the Palace.”  “Disorder in the Court” is a classic Curly short, while the others are with Shemp, and of course, Moe and Larry.  It’s certainly recommended for Stooges fans who are interested in their history and their early work, plus the added value of 3 ½ hours of nothing but fun! -NR

VELOCITY – From roaring hot rods to racing’s big time.  Reminiscent of Marlon Brando’s The Wild Ones and James Dean’s Rebel Without a Cause, fans of Jack Nicholson will want to include this early film in their collection.  All of the elements are here…juvenile delinquents in trouble with the law, hot cars, alcohol, the good girl, etc., and of course Nicholson who calls himself the number one stud in this film.  Presented by Roger Corman.  – PG – Jack Nicholson

W.C. FIELDS COLLECTED SHORTS – These three shorts represents Fields’ wittiest efforts.  In Fatal Glass of Beer (1933), Fields awaits the return of his ex-con son in a remote Yukon cabin.  Presumably, that fatal glass of beer caused the son to get into all kinds of trouble, and thus jail time.  The Dentist (1932) is a cautionary spoof of that trade, and The Golf Specialist (1930) is of course, a hilarious spoof on golfers.  Fields’ acerbic humor, famous one-liners (how did all these kids get in my room?) and films have stood the test of time and remain priceless.  This collection of shorts is among his finest efforts. –NR

WHITE ZOMBIE - While traveling to New York, the young couple Madeleine Short Parker (Madge Bellamy) and her fiancé Neil Parker (John Harron) are convinced by their new acquaintance Charles Beaumont (Robert Frazer) to stay in Port Prince and get married in his mansion. However, Beaumont felt in love for Madeleine and his real intention is to convince her to call off the wedding. When he realizes that the time is too short to seduce her, he visits the local witch Legendre (Bela Lugosi) , who gives him a drug to transform Madeleine into a zombie. She dies immediately after the wedding, and her corpse is disputed by Beaumont and his sick love for her; Legendre, that wants her for his team of zombies; and Neil, who is convinced by the local missionary Dr. Bruner (Joseph Cawthorn) that she might be alive. In the end, true love wins.


WINDS OF THE WASTELAND & SAGEBRUSH TRAIL – John Wayne double feature.
