What is Chemistry?
Ideas, thoughts and feelings don't take up space, so we don't study them.
Matter is made of elements which can be arranged in an organized way called The Periodic Table of the Elements.
This periodic table shows the symbols of the elements and when they were discovered.
Chemistry is "the study of matter and the ways it can change."
Matter is "anything that has mass and takes up space."
Therefore chemistry is the study of everything that takes up space and the ways it can change!
