The 4th Southern African Students' Psychology Conference was a collaborative effort by the Psychology Departments in the University of South Africa and the University of Limpopo. The conference was held at the UNISA campus in Polokwane and took place from the 22nd - 26th of June 2015. The conference theme: 'Psychology in Community'. Students, academics and practitioners submitted abstracts and presented their ideas and shared their knowledge with peers creating a sense of community.

The conference kicked off with pre-conference workshops, geared towards equipping and offering students and emerging scholars the platform to engage and reflect on their on-going learning and research. The conference facilitated other numerous activities, a book launch for the UNISA Flame Series, lunchtime talks and a cocktail function on the programme. The conference is an opportunity to bring together people and share ideas and to move forward the discipline of psychology more especially in our African continent.

The 3rd Southern  African students' psychology conference was hosted by UNISA in collaboration with the university of the Witwatersrand. The conference was held at Wits, Johannesburg and the theme of the conference was Psychology in Action. This proved to be an exciting space for networking and engaging with university students from all over southern Africa in the efforts to learning from each other and reflecting on students work.

The conference started off with a two day pre-conference workshops  which are training opportunities aimed at developing specific skills that are key to the psychology professional. This conference also included lunch time talks, interviews with people behind the papers and a conference cocktail function. The Southern African students' psychology conference  is a great platform for students to come and participate in knowledge dissemination and generation within the field of psychology.
