ICrEAM is a contemporary issues database that has been created for students, academics, researchers and those working in the field of entertainment / arts management - or a related discipline including leisure, events, tourism, cultural studies, creative industries, and media studies. It is designed to provide up to date links to (mostly) contemporary news articles in the various sectors of the entertainment industry. These sectors are highlighted in the sidebar to the left of this page, as identified by Moss (2009) in the text-book 'The Entertainment Industry: An Introduction' . Articles will be added to ICrEAM in reverse chronological order, with the most recent first.
ICrEAM was established by staff and students on the BA (Hons) Entertainment Management at Leeds Metropolian University (now Leeds Beckett University) in May 2010, and will be a continually
growing resource, where entertainment and arts management related articles will be
summarised and linked to according to which sector(s) of the entertainment industry articles most relate to. In addition to this, ICrEAM contains a book store, and resources on: the entertainment environments; enterprise and entrepreneurship; and employability.
This database can either be searched by looking through the sectoral information to the left, or using the 'Search this site' facility above. We also maintain an entertainment industry blog called Entertainment Planet.
