Welcome to the website for the annual "Strollin' for the Colon -Toni's Race" run/walk! Here you will find updates as they pertain to the event as well as a rundown, location, and even pictures of the run!

Thanks to everyone who made Strollin' for the Colon a great success in 2019.  You made it possible to disperse $20,000!

This is what we gave:

$10,000 To Dr. Michael Drage, assistant professor of Pathology and Laboratory medicine at U of R Medical Center.   He is researching drugs called checkpoint inhibitors which allow cancer cells to be easier killed.  Presented by Dr. Kaul and Dr. DeCross.

$5000 to Causeway Community Partners to support the Get Screened Finger Lakes campaign.  It is important to reach all who need to get screened.  Presented by Dr. Marino.

$2000 to the Patient Needs Fund at Wilmot Cancer Institute.  This provides assistance to those who are facing colon cancer treatment and have a financial need.  Presented by Ginny Gullo, RN to Patrice Rogers

$2000 to Livingston County Public Health so they can continue to promote colo-rectal cancer screening in the region.  Presented by Tina Cottone, LPN to Colleen Schiedel, RN

to the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge.  Patients and caregivers who live more than 40 miles away are provided free accommodations.  Presented by Doug Stark to Ann Savastano
