ACL Lottery

Air Cadet League of Canada - Ontario Provincial Committee - Annual Lottery

The Air Cadet League of Canada (ACL), Ontario Provincial Committee (OPC) supports over 8,400 air cadets in Ontario. The money that is required nationally, provincially and locally to fund such an organization is enormous for any volunteer group – and you may be surprised to find out that the funding provided by the ACL is in the millions of dollars. An annual ACL OPC Lottery provides the majority of the funding for the League here in Ontario. Tickets are sold by cadets with the draw happening in early April of each year.

OPC Lottery proceeds fund:

  • Maintenance of our plane and glider fleet
  • Awards, bursaries, and scholarships
  • Band instruments, biathlon equipment
  • Support squadron activities
  • Volunteer training and support
