If you need help finding resources relevant to your situation please call to speak with an ACT Information Officer for individualized support.

The Canucks Autism Network (CAN) provides year-round, innovative, high quality sports, recreational, social and employment related programs for individuals and families living with autism, while building awareness and capacity through community networks across British Columbia.

The Canucks Autism Network team consists of a diverse group of trained staff, support workers and dedicated volunteers who administer programs for families and individuals living with autism in our province.

The purpose of the Family Support Institute is to strengthen and support families faced with the extraordinary circumstances that come with having a family member who has a disability. We believe that families are the best resource available to support one another. Directed by families, the Family Support Institute provides information, training, and province-wide networking to assist families and their communities to build upon and share their strengths.

Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society

Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society

Friend 2 Friend is a not for profit, federal registered charity based in Vancouver, BC Canada.
Our mission is to enhance reciprocal social interaction, communication, imaginative play, and friendships between individuals on the autism spectrum and their typically developing peers. To meet this mandate, Friend 2 Friend provides a variety of unique and innovative programs such as our Autism Demystification Programs and the Friend 2 Friend - Integrated Play Groups® Programs to individuals ages 3 through 18 on the autism spectrum and related social, communication and play needs.
Empowering Potential

The Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) Lifespan Clinic and general counselling is designed to treat children, youth, adults and families in a share care model. In our share care model we help increase coordination of care for yourselves and family by providing individual therapy, education and consultation with child psychiatry, pediatrics, and general practitioners.

A lifespan approach enhances treatment of ADHD, as currently it is difficult for parents, young adults, and adults to seek treatment/diagnosis for ADHD.  Since ADHD is highly co-morbid (exists with other disorders) the treatment must be multi-faceted and individualized.  Our clinicians and consultants have vast experience in the treatment of ADHD, Loss and other mental health disorders.

Canadian Mental Health Association

The Canadian Mental Health Association, a nation-wide, volunteer organization, promotes the mental health of all and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness. CMHA accomplishes this mission through advocacy, education, community-based research and services.
