Welcome to the collaboration site for the Agenda on Strategic Design and Public Policy. The agenda was produced at the Conference on Strategic Design and Public Policy held between June 9-11, 2010 and co-hosted by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (lead by the Security Needs Assessment Protocol project), the Center for Local Strategies Research at the University of Washington, and the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
A full conference report is available that includes the history leading to the event; an overview of the proceedings themselves; a list of participants; and a full description of the Agenda. The Conference Report also contains links to key documents that provide a more complete overview of the work leading to the conference.
You may find the report at: http://www.unidir.org/pdf/activites/pdf9-act337.pdf
This site is organized around the four Agenda Items from the Conference and includes an additional section for General Discussion. We understand that some postings may fit just as well under two or more Agenda Items. If this is the case, please consider mentioning the other agenda items in your posting. When doing so the search engine will make it easy to find them.
This site is open to everyone with an interest in bringing local knowledge and cooperation to the design of local action for the public good. Please share your ideas, experiences, projects and inspiration.
On behalf of the organizers and participants to the Conference, thank you for your interest and contributions.
