PADS Information

DuPagePads relies on the time and talents of volunteers 365 days a year. Right now, we are seeking YOUR valuable time and talent in the following ways:

Are you a night owl?
The shelter program needs more volunteers to monitor the shelters overnight this August. Could you give a few hours to the shelter program? Unfilled shifts are listed at www.dupagepads.org/solutions/volunteer/volunteer-opportunities/
Are you good with directions?
The DuPagePads Run 4 Home 5K/10K is at 8am on Saturday, September 19th. Adult volunteers are needed to guide runners along the scenic course through Wheaton, and redirect cars in the neighborhood. Volunteers arrive at our office at 703 W. Liberty at 7am, grab a free T-Shirt and coffee, and head out to the course! Parking is free and conveniently located. Email Colleen at cconwood@dupagepads.org to sign up.
Are you enthusiastic?
We also need enthusiastic volunteers of all ages to cheer along the runners across the course! Runners report that they return to this race because of the positive environment and encouragement along the course. Email Colleen at cconwood@dupagepads.org to sign up.
Are you a festival lover?
Volunteer at Naperville Jaycees Last Fling September 4-7, 2015. The more DuPagePads volunteers who sign up, the more funds we receive for our mission to end homelessness in DuPage County! Volunteer tasks include assisting with the beer tent, family fun land, food tents, fling parade, and special events. Contact Linda today if you are interested: lflo@dupagepads.org, 630.682.3846 ext. 2520.
Thank you for considering how you can contribute to DuPagePads!
