A Prayer for Young People

Lord, this world needs this marvelous wealth of youth.

Help  young people,

They hold the inexhaustible wealth of the future.

Do not allow an easy life to corrupt them, nor obstacles to crush their spirit.

Free them from the worst of all ---

That of getting used to being

Old within themselves

And only young on the outside.

Dom H. Camara
